this is my last art work on computer. I made it for the NUTRITION MONTH celebration 2011. The theme was about “BREAST FEEDING”-
I thought of it to be a BIG BANG for the art club I have organized in our school-ART JAM. It is a “sketch” for the collage on our bulletin. The students from different year level made this realized by using newspapers, cellophane, magazines, creep paper and paint and I -as the adviser. The day we made this was a lot of mess, stress and FUN and an extra scoop of fulfillment especially among the students.
The following day was the Nutrition Day celebration. Food is everywhere- so delicious, so nutritious and inviting. Where is the “BREASTFEEDING” thing then? There you can see our enormous MOTHER-breastfeeding collage as the CENTER of attraction -we think. Maybe it is because our bulletin board is between two ladders.
Pictures were here and there and compliments flooded about a knee level. Yet our MOTHER collage only stayed for a couple of days. It was torn by an Ustadz, an Arabic Teacher, for it is believed in Islam that it is not good to display images on walls for it will be a home for spirits especially the bad ones. This happened during the “DEMON POSSESS” incidence happened in the school among ten or more students. The truth is, this “demon possess” incidence happened already almost everyday in a month, before we made the collage. Poor MOTHER collage, torn for being projected as the home of bad spirits.

I have written a note where i simply expressed what is running in my thoughts at the moment. i folded it and cut half of it not wanting someone to read that note. It was supoosedly a message of contemplation/reflection of what i have been doing these days, in general.
I fall asleep and woke up by someone who got and read the note under my table. The person just got up, had the belongings kept, said few words to me . -i’ve read what you have written on the paper. it is time now for me to leave, just tell me whatever it is that you have thought so i will know-and left and was so upset
this is where INTERPRETATION plays a significant yet crucial role. Interpretation is how people decode a stimulus and understand it. A stimulus may be abstract as well as the interpretaion may be deep or shallow. No matter how nice a stimulus is presented, interpretation may have or may not have a good understanding of it.
Misunderstanding follows if something is “misinterpreted” or simply say, different people so, different interpretations. It is relative. Sometimes, a message sung by a singer, written by a poet or spoken by a speaker may be misinterpreted by the listener and the reader. If interperetation is decoded irrationally, then who should be blamed? the one who is speaking, or the one who is listening?
The good thing is communication is there. It is wide, broad and complicated, but it is still there to make the MESSAGE clear and the INTERPRETATION clear.

2a hamster or a rat?
while i was walking down the road, people noticed a cage that I was bringing.. after seeing what is inside- they said, small rabbit? hamster? rat? the funniest guess was- guinea pig? is it a fish?
They are Guinea Pigs
. they are rodents and are vegetarian. They can be long haired, short haired, tri-colored or self-colored. I get interested to pet like them after a co-teacher shared me his pet, G-Force. After a year, I had one-Kai. she is very lovable and loves to play. yet she died 3 weeks later after adopting her. Few months later, I bought a pair -ME and MENG but they died not later as 1 week. after that, I become more desperate to buy another pair and pet them for years. They are Gloria and Marku. Tomorrow is their first monthsary. yahoo!
